Who am I?

A lost African

In a strange land

Oppressed by this white man

Emulated by everyone

But loved by none

Darkness has covered my light

I long for the sun

Africa’s sons

I wish we were one

But you see me as a stranger

You don’t know where you’re from

Look what they’ve done

Destruction of a Black civilization

Now we live the life of degradation

Our worst enemy is ourselves

Cause we wanna be anything/everything but ourselves
